A yearly event to reward the merit of individuals in the community for their hard work, innovation,concepts and

ideas that helped better the community with artists from all around new york and even from out of state being rewarded.

This was the the first edition of Teriyah Africans Awards in 2005 also called La nuit des stars, at La plantation in the Bronx, New york. The event was hosted by Thierry de Balliet, Pierre Ogoa Koffi and music by, DJ Birane.
